Round the World

this was lo-hei created by my friend in Melbourne and it is one of the best lo-hei ive ever tasted.

Ingredients
Sauce - made of duck sauce, honey and strawberry jam
mango
apple
english pear
papaya
shredded duck
crackers
crashed nuts

mix it together and its the yummiest lo-hei. yippeee im having it this sat!

my cny celebration of feasting started on the 12/02/2007 with an early reunion dinner - streamboat. since that day, it was been a whirlpool of cny goodies feasting and reunion dinners. hahahs how many reunion dinners does a family need to be in union? had another reunion dinner on the 17th, dinner at grandma's on 18th, another at uncle's on 19th and another reunion with my family again on 20th. all in all, this past week, i had three streamboats and 2 huge dinners. not to mention all the goodies i managed to stuff my face with between the lunches and dinners.

tea time - chicken wings, cuttlefish balls, drunken prawns, of coz bei quack (lucky lucky dessert), which my family has every new year. if this dessert is not served, it means my family has not celebrated the coming of a new year.

my stomach cried out for help yesterday night in a big explosion and i had major LS. this fri, im having lo hei with family and another on sat when my grandma, aunts and uncles come over. if lo hei is suppose to bring good luck, im going to strike it big coz i will have at least 4-5 lo heis before the end of CNY celebration. poor stomach...xing ku ni lei

Here's wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. I off from tonight to Tuesday to my grandma's place for 4 days of feasting and mahjong session!!! woohooo

Ive started celebrating chinese new year. last friday, played mahjong till 4.00am and would have continued if flea did not have to pack and leave for australia that very day itself. flea was declared the big winner of $2.40. hahahs. we played small and its just for entertainment. that day itself, i ate enough to feed a small third world country. terrible... (gluttony!!)

this thurs is my b'day and im going to cambodia for celebration. paid only $105 for return trip, tax included. is it cheap or what? will be going to pp and siem reap (angkor wat). one more wonders of the world down and a thousand more to go.
