updates on taiwan
i think by now, you all would be tired of me blogging on taiwan. However, there are a few updates and things still happening in eccentric taiwan.
(1) the long-awaiting maokong is up and running. when it first open, the cable car was stalled for about 2 hours. This happened in summer. people who were trapped in them nearly had heatstrokes if not for the "fast" rescue of the civil defence.
(2) bintan - now a tourist attraction. used to be one of the highly-rated place to kill yourself. now, you could be peddling your BEAUTIFUL swan boat and ho and behold a dead body floats by.
(3) wulai to drink "mijiu" brewed by the aboriginals.
(4) gugong - national museum.
(5) elan to surf - now one of the fave pastimes of young taiwanese. the champion from taiwan actually quivered with fear when he went to hawaii for competition.
